A humorous fill-in-the-blank party game, with similarities to Cards Against Humanity.
How to play?
A round, step by step:
You fill the blanks using cards from your hand.
The completed sentence can be funny, deep, or even strange — it’s up to you.
One player is the Cardinal and chooses their favorite submission.
The player who submitted the chosen answers earns a point.
Playing in person or via voice chat is recommended to enjoy the laughs together.
What card decks are available?
Several hand-crafted decks with thousands of cards are available.
No official Cards Against Humanity decks are included or supported.
Can I create my own decks?
Yes, absolutely.
Signing in with Discord gives you access to the deck editor.
You can create multiple decks with hundreds of answers and sentences, and assign each a language.
You decide whether to make decks public or private, and whether to mark them as containing rough content.
You can also edit your decks offline using download and upload features.
Is there an affiliation with Cards Against Humanity (Online)?
No. Box of Cards is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Cards Against Humanity LLC.
Any references to Cards Against Humanity are for descriptive purposes only.
Why another Cards Against Humanity-like game?
There are already many: Cards Against Formality, Apples to Apples, bad.cards, Pretend You're Xyzzy, and more.
My vision is to create a game that lets players tell stories using decks.
Along the way, I realized I had a playable game with unique features.
So I decided to make it public and build on it.
